Commission approved selection of Goddard Consulting for peer review of ANRAD 002-1350 (131 Haverhill Rd), issued a Certificate of Compliance for 5 Albion St, approved a driveway modification at 31 Newton Rd (allowing asphalt in place of permeable pavers), endorsed the Bobolink Management Plan rotational mowing schedule at Battis Farm, and ratified emergency tree-removal certifications for 15 Middle Rd and 91 High St.
The Conservation Commission met virtually on July 7, 2025, and handled several property-level and procedural items. The Commission approved selection of Goddard Consulting to perform peer review for ANRAD 002-1350 (131 Haverhill Road) after reviewing two proposals and noting DEP comments will need to be addressed. A Certificate of Compliance (RCOC 002-1336) for 5 Albion Street was approved following an Agent site visit that found the work in substantial compliance with the Order of Conditions.
The Commission reviewed a requested modification to OOC 002-1337 (31 Newton Road) to replace an approved permeable paver driveway with a fully paved driveway. Commissioners found the change minor and approved the modification after hearing that amended stormwater calculations were submitted and that a gravel shoulder will provide infiltration. The body also endorsed the 2020 Bobolink Management Plan and supported a rotational mowing schedule for Battis Farm, noting a lack of a formal DPW mowing schedule. Finally, the Commission ratified two Emergency Certifications authorizing removal of hazardous trees at 15 Middle Road and 91 High Street, with arborist verification documented for both removals.
