The Commission approved the Notice of Intent and a waiver for 61 Lake Attitash Way (noting stormwater/runoff concerns), accepted an open-space parcel at 47.5-57 Kimball Road, approved a Certificate of Compliance for 130 Market St, and ratified an emergency tree-removal certification at 14 Lake Attitash Road.
The Conservation Commission reviewed several permit applications and land transactions affecting local resource areas. The body approved both a waiver of the 50-foot no-build setback and the underlying Notice of Intent for 61 Lake Attitash Way after discussion of proposed stormwater management (drywells, pervious pavers, and a proposed catch basin) and neighborhood concerns about runoff from Kimball Road; DPW had requested mitigation and drywell calculations and some commissioners expressed a preference to wait for Conservation Restriction or Planning Board actions before final approvals. The Commission also ratified an Emergency Certification authorizing removal of two hazardous pine trees at 14 Lake Attitash Road, citing arborist verification and an existing Order of Conditions on the property.
In other actions the Commission approved a Certificate of Compliance for work at 130 Market Street (site demolition and construction of two buildings) and voted to accept an open-space parcel conveyed at 47.5-57 Kimball Road to be held by the Conservation Commission. Several hearings were continued (including an ANRAD for 131 Haverhill Road and a transmission-line NOI), and administrative items such as meeting scheduling and proposed training were noted. Public commenters raised concerns specifically about stormwater runoff entering Lake Attitash and the adequacy of proposed drainage measures; applicants responded with drainage reports and stormwater design descriptions.
