An Order to request the City Council vote to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement between the City of Amesbury and its Public Education and Governmental (“PEG”) access provider, Amesbury Community Television (“ACTV”) for a term to expire on June 30, 2032.
The City Council is asked to authorize renewal of its PEG access agreement with ACTV for eight years, through June 30, 2032. ACTV would receive 70% of PEG access payments plus $25,000 per licensee annually for equipment, in exchange for continuing PEG access programming and services.

The City of Amesbury seeks to renew its agreement with ACTV, the town's Public, Educational, and Governmental (PEG) access provider, for eight years through June 30, 2032. Under the renewal, ACTV would receive 70% of annual PEG access payments (5% of each licensee's gross revenues) from both Breezeline and Comcast licenses, plus $25,000 per licensee annually for capital equipment. ACTV would continue to provide PEG access services as required by the licenses and the agreement.
