RVCS Development Committee Meeting
Development Committee set a Maritime Mixer for May 7 at the Custom House Maritime Museum (Water Street, Newburyport) to welcome incoming Kinderhaus and 8th-grade families; presentations will include the Board Chair, the RVCS Executive Director, and the Museum Director.
The Development Committee met to plan the upcoming Maritime Mixer at the Custom House Maritime Museum in Newburyport. Members confirmed the event date and time (Thursday, May 7 at 6:30 PM), noted the venue is upstairs with an 80-person capacity, and reported that an invitation email has been sent to incoming Kinderhaus families. The committee established a list of needed items (food and drink) and delegated tasks to ensure the event runs smoothly.
The evening program was outlined to include short presentations by Board Chair T. Murdy, RVCS Executive Director K. Kuse, and Maritime Museum Director James Russell. Committee members agreed to reconvene in one week to review final preparations and end-of-year tasks. Planning for PA was tabled for discussion at the next meeting. No public comments or substantive policy/budget votes were recorded in the minutes.
