Planning Board Meeting
The Planning Board approved storefront sign applications for Apricot Lane at 19 Main St. and Century 21 at 87 Main St.; both received positive recommendations from the Design Review Committee.
The Planning Board met remotely on April 11, 2024. After roll call the Board approved the minutes from the March 11 meeting and proceeded to consider two storefront sign applications that had received positive recommendations from the Design Review Committee. The Board approved the Apricot Lane sign for 19 Main St. as revised in the April submission (a 25" x 129" externally illuminated sign with 20.5" raised lettering and window graphics) and approved the Century 21 sign for 87 Main St., which will replace an existing sign with no changes to bracket or lighting; both approvals passed unanimously 5-0. Discussion noted that Apricot Lane may add hours later without reapplying unless those hours exceed the size of the primary sign.
There were no covenants, bonds, contracts, bills, or invoices presented. Board members discussed scheduling for a forthcoming Master Plan presentation and agreed to hold a special meeting on April 29, 2024 to review the Master Plan; the Board also noted upcoming zoning amendment materials for May. The meeting adjourned following the scheduled items.
