Library Board of Trustees Meeting
Board voted unanimously to interview three firms—Bruner Cott, CBT, and Oudens Ello—to advance the Amesbury Public Library Facilities Master Plan proposal.
The meeting focused on selecting finalists for the Amesbury Public Library (APL) Facilities Master Plan. APL Director Aimie Westphal reviewed the selection committee's work and the purpose of the evening's vote. Head of Archives Meghan Fahey summarized the scope requested from firms—conditions assessment, a facilities master plan, and future visioning strategies—and explained that proposals were evaluated on their vision, aesthetic, and proposed work plan for next steps on the building. Aimie also described why these three firms rose above other applicants to be invited for interviews.
A formal motion was made by Brenda Rich to accept the selection committee's recommendation to interview Bruner Cott, CBT, and Oudens Ello; Anne Campbell seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously. No matters were raised under "Matters Not Reasonably Anticipated," and there were no public comments recorded. The meeting adjourned shortly after the vote.
