Liquor License Commission

The commission will consider new and transfer liquor license applications for Go Birds Hospitality, LLC and Oye Mira Mexican Restaurant, LLC, and will review outdoor dining applicants permitting alcohol service (ODP-26-1, ODP-26-2, ODP-26-3).

Agenda includes an amended license application from 14 Merrimac Street, LLC for a new liquor license; formal adoption of the Section 12d license conversion per City Council Bill 2025-098; and votes on 2026 renewal status for all annual liquor licensees.

Approved a new Section 12 All Alcohol license for 14 Merrimac Street LLC at 2 Merrimac St; raised one-day liquor license fees for for-profit applicants to $50 (non-profits remain $0); and declined to impose a local fee for ABCC Section 12D license conversions.

Approved a new Section 15 Wine/Malt license for Shree Raavee, Inc (Sunoco) at 108 Macy St; commissioners also reviewed filing of local acceptance of MGL ch.138 §12D with City Council and discussed proposed licensing fee changes including a $200 transfer fee and raising one-day license fees to $50 (non-profits $0).

Approved a Section 12 All-Alcohol license for Forrest Hill Brewing Company (Mill 77) at 77 Elm Street; commissioners also agreed in principle to revise one-day liquor license fees to $50 for wine/malt and $0 for all-alcohol effective Jan. 1, 2026.

Hearing continued for Forrest Hill Brewing Co. DBA Mill 77 (77 Elm St) on its application for a Section 12 All Alcohol license; Amesbury Gas and Convenience (23 Rocky Hill Rd) was approved for a Section 15 Wine & Malt license.
