This ordinance authorizes the Mayor to accept and expend a $15,000 grant from the Association for Rural and Small Libraries to help fund the replacement of the temporary ADA ramp at the Amesbury Public Library. The ramp, installed in 2007, no longer meets current code and the project is estimated at $60,000. The ARSL grant covers about one-fifth of the cost, with the remainder to be funded from other sources, including a potential FY27 state earmark. The grant requires a brief reporting total by April 30, 2027.
