The City of Amesbury is establishing annual spending limits for specific departmental revolving funds for FY27 under M.G.L. c. 44, § 53E 1/2. The limits are intended to cap expenditures against receipts from fees charged for programs and services and to ensure responsible management of city facilities and programs. The funds covered include: (1) Youth activities and programs and use of City-owned facilities, with a limit of $475,000; (2) Council on Aging programs, with a limit of $10,000; and (3) EV charging stations operations, with a limit of $25,000. The limits apply to the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026 and remain in effect until revised by vote of the City Council prior to the start of the following fiscal year.
