This measure authorizes the City of Amesbury to accept and expend a $3.6 million MassWorks grant for infrastructure improvements along Route 110 at Elm Street and Clarks Road. The project encompasses roadway widening, intersection upgrades, new traffic signals, water line upgrades, and multimodal enhancements (sidewalks, ADA ramps, crosswalks, shared-use path) to support the Rocky Hill multifamily development at 283 Elm Street and other housing initiatives in Amesbury and Salisbury. The funding will finance construction and associated improvements to facilitate safe, accessible travel and better connectivity for residents and businesses in the affected corridor.
