This ordinance authorizes the City of Amesbury to accept and expend a grant of $298,834 from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs to fund Amesbury’s Elder Mental Health Outreach Team (EMHOT) for FY25 and FY26. The grant supports behavioral health assessments, outreach, and services for older adults, and funds salaries, fringe benefits, transportation, and related program expenses through a contracted arrangement (Attachment A) with EOEA. The agreement has a term from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026 with a total maximum obligation of $298,834 and uses standard Commonwealth Terms and Conditions.
