Board of Assessors Meeting

The Board of Assessors met on December 30, 2025. Attendees included board members Thatcher Kezer and Crystal Hall and Assistant Assessor Bruce Collins. The board opened the meeting and reviewed administrative assessment items. Motions passed unanimously to accept uncollectable motor vehicle excise tax abatements for tax years 2017 and 2018, uncollectable personal property tax abatements for 2018 and 2019, the Sixth Motor Vehicle Commitment book for 2025, and the Motor Vehicle Abatement Reports covering December 1–30, 2025. The board also reviewed and accepted the fiscal year 2026 warrants (water, sewer, real estate, and personal property).

There was no public comment. The board voted to enter Executive Session under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30A, Section 2(f) to review executive minutes and under Chapter 30A, Section 21(a), Purpose 7 to discuss non-public records; the minutes record that the board would adjourn from Executive Session and reconvene. All recorded votes in open session were unanimous.
