Liquor License Commission Meeting
Commission discussed outdoor dining and heard that the owner of Brewery Silvaticus intends to file an alteration-of-premises with the ABCC; the Commission also approved license hour changes for Fortune Bar and Walgreens.
The Liquor License Commission met on March 18, 2024. The primary topics were outdoor dining and amendments to licensed hours for two establishments. A representative of Brewery Silvaticus stated his intention to file an alteration of premises with the ABCC regardless of the state Senate’s action on an outdoor dining bill; the Commission voted to continue the outdoor dining discussion to the next meeting while noting the need for departmental approvals.
The Commission approved amendments to the licensed hours for Fortune Bar and for Walgreens; that motion was made by Derek Balaam, seconded by John Kirton, and passed unanimously. There was no extended recorded debate on the license-hour amendments. The meeting concluded with a unanimous motion to adjourn at 5:55 PM.
