Board of Assessors Meeting
Board will review and sign boat and motor vehicle excise abatement packets and consider real estate abatement applications; the board will also review approved exemption packets and individual exemption applications. An executive session may be held to discuss non-public records under MGL Chapter 59.
The Board of Assessors met on April 7, 2026. Attendees included Emily Behn, Thatcher Kezer, Crystal Hall, Head Assessor John Greeno, and Assistant Assessor Bruce Collins. The Board opened the meeting, reviewed and unanimously approved the Open Session minutes from March 17, 2026, and reviewed and unanimously accepted Boat Abatement reports and Motor Vehicle Excise Abatement reports for April 1–7, 2026. There was no public comment during the meeting.
The Board voted unanimously to enter Executive Session under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30A, Section 2(f) to review executive minutes and under Chapter 30A, Section 21(a), Purpose 7 to discuss non-public records; the Board then adjourned from Executive Session and reconvened in Open Session. The meeting concluded with a unanimous motion to adjourn at 7:06 pm. No substantive debates or contested items were recorded in the official minutes.
