Public hearings on a Chapter 40B comprehensive permit for eight one-bedroom rental units at 276-278-280 Main Street; a variance request to add an addition and garage at 9 Lake Attitash Road; and a special permit to create a 900 sq ft in-law apartment at 11 Whitewood Circle (applicant requests withdrawal).
The Zoning Board of Appeals convened on August 28, 2025. Chair Sharon McDermot reported scheduling conflicts that prevented the board from fully hearing the applications on the agenda and the board scheduled a special meeting for September 11, 2025 to take them up. The board voted unanimously (5-0) to continue the hearings for 276 Main Street (Housing Support — Comprehensive Permit) and 9 Lake Attitash Road (Variance) to that special meeting.
The board also considered a request regarding 11 Whitewood Circle and voted unanimously (5-0) to accept the applicant's withdrawal of the Special Permit application. There is no substantive discussion or public comment recorded in the minutes for any of the agenda items. The meeting was adjourned at 7:02 p.m.
