Board of Assessors Meeting

The Board of Assessors met on February 11, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Auditorium with members Emily Behn, Crystal Hall, Thatcher Kezer, Chief Assessor Diana Caswell, and Assistant Assessor Bruce Collins present; property owners James Cunha and Margaret Wiley also attended. The Board opened the meeting, reviewed and approved the January 14, 2025 open-session minutes, and reviewed Motor Vehicle and Boat Excise Abatement Reports for February 1–10, 2025, each of which the Board accepted by unanimous vote. There were no public comments during the open session.

The Board voted unanimously to enter Executive Session under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30A, Section 2(f) to review executive minutes and under Chapter 30A, Section 21(a), Purpose 7 to discuss non-public records; the Executive Session was called at 5:47 p.m. The Board reconvened the open meeting at 7:21 p.m. and adjourned at 7:22 p.m. The next meeting was scheduled for March 11, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.
