Board of Health Special Meeting
Jim Wilson was introduced and has assumed the role of Director of Inspectional Services; the Board tentatively set its 2025 meeting schedule to the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM.
The Board met virtually on January 7, 2025. Members and staff discussed department staffing and program updates, including the replacement for the Director of Inspectional Services (Jim Wilson was introduced and has assumed that position), the City public nurse position, the Merrimack Valley Public Health Alliance and the Public Health Excellence (PHE) Grant, and recent inspection activity. The Board approved PHE Grant-related invoices/billing as part of the grant administration.
The Board also discussed its 2025 meeting schedule and tentatively decided to move regular meetings to the third Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:00 PM (a change from the prior third-Thursday-at-6:30 PM schedule). No substantive public comments or contested issues are recorded. The meeting was adjourned at 7:19 PM.
