Board of Assessors Meeting
Discussion of an ATB (Appellate Tax Board) case decision and a meeting with ATB case homeowners regarding property values, and review of Chapterland applications.
The Board of Assessors met on September 24, 2024. After opening the meeting, the Board reviewed and approved the August 20, 2024 open-session minutes, then reviewed and accepted Motor Vehicle Abatement Reports and Boat Abatement Reports covering September 1–19, 2024. No public comment was received.
The Board entered Executive Session under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30A, Section 2(f) to review executive minutes and under Chapter 30A, Section 21(a), Purpose 7 to discuss non-public records; the Board then reconvened to open session and promptly adjourned. The meeting actions were recorded as passed unanimously where votes were taken.
