Cemetery Advisory Commission
The Cemetery Advisory Commission advises the Director of the Public Works in the maintenance and administration of the city's cemeteries, advocates for the preservation and improvement of city cemeteries, and identifies grants and other funds for the benefit of the cemeteries upkeep.

Cemetery Commission Meeting
The commission will review a request from the Amesbury Carriage Museum to hold a walking tour at Mt. Prospect Cemetery and discuss a found gravestone that appears to belong to Mt. Prospect Lot 205. Other business includes a request to apply fertilizer to a shrub by the Lower Gate, an ESRI update, and setting the next meeting date.

Agenda for the Cemetery Advisory Commission at Union Cemetery focuses on developing additional saleable lots (including lot layout and a stated 42-inch lot width), comparison of a 1940 map with a recent Hancock survey, need for road access to Section E, resolution of lot-numbering discrepancies, and plans for summer maintenance, grave-opening costs, and removal of a fallen tree; the commission will also discuss asking Whittier to assist with Old Corner gate repairs and a cemetery map case.
